I find so often that I get to this point in my journal and I get stuck...
A couple of layers of paint, some collage, some gesso...and stall. Hmmm...now what?
Well, while I'm sitting here staring at this page trying to figure it out, here's what I did yesterday.
your flowers are gorgeous! if you don't mind sharing, what materials dis you use to create it?
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks so much! It's almost entirely acrylic paints - I painted the flowers, leaves, circles, with Blick's acrylics. There are a couple of stencils in there - the letters in the flower in the top right corner and the white background flowers. There's a little black India ink and some white Uniball Signo pen as well. And that's about it!
DeleteI love what you completed and you have a great start for another spread to boot! It'll come :)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, thanks so much for the kind words and encouragement. I appreciate it!
DeleteGreat start on a background! I get stuck like that all the time because I really like doing backgrounds...it's the foreground that can be difficult! You'll get it figured out!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's so nice to know I'm not the only one who gets to a certain spot and gets stalled! :)
DeleteWow!!! This is amazing. So rich, vibrant. I absolutely love it!!
